And a fresh start!

It’s eight days into the new year.

And a lot has happened in eight days. My cell’s going through a few changes, for one! We’ve been a mixed aged group cell for two years already, and now we’re separating into two by age. I think it’s great news! To be able to split after two years shows that the cell’s grown. In numbers, at least. And if people have been coming and inviting their friends, it shows evidence of growth within, as well. :D It’s also been my first few days of school at SAJC. I really enjoyed it. SA’s a school with great people and great heart. One thing that’s been troubling me, though, is that I opted to take KI, and the way KI is taught is really quite dismissive of Christianity. What’s ironic is that SAJC is a Christian mission school, and half of the class does believe in God. It’s nothing new I guess. We know that there’ll always be people to malign the word of God, but I do believe that at the end of the day God will still be sovereign. Anyway, I’m glad for a chance to try KI in the first intake. And I’m glad this IS the first intake. We can get away with being a bit blur. Hahaha.

I’m bursting to say this! I’m really excited about 2008. I think this year’s going to be great. Well yes, there’ll be a lot of responsibility and work up ahead, but won’t there always be? I’m just glad this is a new year that God has given, and I’m hoping to enter each day with bright eyes and a happy heart.
