December 07: After months of self-imposed inactivity, Fleetpaw the Hare has reappeared once again into his virtual world of grass, trees and carrots. In an exclusive interview with the hare himself, Fleetpaw was reported to have said "I was away for my own reasons. I must say, though, that it's good to be back." With regard to his plans to fill his abode with writing, as of old, little could be gathered. "I can't tell how much I will write," said the hare. “But I’m hoping that whatever I pen down, no matter the length, will encourage those reading it.” Wise words. And why Fleetpaw the Great? “I think it’s cool. Don’t you?”
Fleetpaw Swiftshaft has been my online alias ever since a younger me - struggling to reach the books - discovered Brian Jacques' Redwall and dreamed up my very own imaginary hare. Fleetpaw came about inspired by my ideal of a runner in a race. I've always thought of life as a race, and the ideal hare to run it would be fleet of paw, and swift as an arrow (or shaft). Hence Fleetpaw Swiftshaft. Nimble's good. If life's a race, why not run it well?
Fleetpaw is a Singaporean hare. Pardon the jargon.
